Cassava raw starch is widely used in food formulations, such as baked goods, but also in the production of squeezed formed small food and cassava grain beads. Denatured starch or starch derivatives have been used as thickeners, binders, puffers and stabilizers, and are the best increments, sweeteners, flavoring vectors and fat substitutes. Foods using Thai cassava starch include canned food, frozen food, dry mixed food, baked goods, small foods, consumables, soups, sausages, dairy products, meat and fish products, and baby food.
